A Wonderful Start to the School Year

As we settle into the rhythm of a new school year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible staff for the energy, creativity, and care they’ve poured into launching the 2025 - 2026 school year. Our recent Open House, sports teams and healthy schools squad are a vibrant showcase of the many opportunities throughout the school.  From athletics to arts, leadership to service, we have an inspiring year planned to support student growth beyond the classroom.

This past week also offered meaningful moments of learning and reflection. On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our students engaged in thoughtful conversations and activities that honoured Indigenous voices, histories, and the ongoing journey toward understanding and reconciliation. We are proud of the respectful and curious spirit our learners brought to this important day.

We also came together in motion and purpose for the Terry Fox Run, celebrating Terry’s legacy of courage and determination. It was heartwarming to see students and staff running, walking, and cheering each other on—all while raising awareness and support for cancer research.

Tonight marks the kickoff for the school council. Thank you to those members of our community who have agreed to work with us this school year! We are looking forward to another great year.

As we move forward, we remain committed to fostering a school culture that values learning, community, and compassion. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
